2013 NFL Second Semi Final Montmorency vs Bundoora Last Quarter Comeback!

Three quarter time and the game looked to be all but over. Bundoora had a 35 points lead and did not look threatened by Montmorency. Bundoora is a semi finals specialist winning most that they play in, where the character of Montmorency has been challenged in recent years with very few finals games wins at Preston City Oval. When Bundoora kicked out to a 40 points lead 6 minutes into the last quarter it looked like the final act had been delivered and Montmorency was going to have to return to Para Rd and soul search what went wrong yet again. With no wind to assist a comeback, the cause looked all over for the magpies, instead they threw out the Bundoora script and lifted through hard physical running leaving Bundoora spent and out of gas. Montmorency captured the lead with less than 3 minutes to go for the first time in the game and held on for a famous victory to send them straight through to the 2013 Grand Final
